Much Land to Cover

Sometimes the poetry vein strikes.

Here is what came out today.

Much Land to Cover

I’ve traveled far

Much further than imaginable

I’ve visited Delight

And with it also Sorrow

The sights look Grand

At times I even touch them

Though sometimes too,

I think I’m at Death Valley

When whispers in the night

Plague mind and soul and body

I must drive on

Past Hollow into Canaan

The road ahead is miles and miles long

Loneliness runs into healing

5 times and then a thousand

There’s so much land to cover.
