We finally went to Peace Valley as a family on Saturday.

Fabio and the boys had gone several times, and I had missed it…

I had heard much about the bird blind, and how you could see tons of birds, but I didn’t know what to expect…

the web definition for bird blind: is a shelter, often camouflaged, that is used to observe wildlife, especially birds, at close quarters.

Well, I got tons of nice pictures of birds.  At the time we were there, they were mostly cardinals, and a couple woodpeckers.  It was really exciting to be able to get so close to them.

The only bad thing of the day was that in the evening, there was a tick on my head, which my husband graciously removed for me.  EEEwwwwwwww!!!
