Yup. The arts show is over.
One might say I can relax, but that would not be the case. Now I can get back to all the household duties which I neglected for about 2 weeks.
While preparing for the show, I told my husband that if I sold one original piece, I’d be giddy, and therefore, I am very giddy! I sold an original ink and colored pencil drawing. I will be matting it and delivering it to the new owner soon.
I also sold a few photo prints and photo cards.
I didn’t make back all the money I spent to get ready for the show, but it’s a real good start.
I loved the experience and learned alot.
I am excited to start preparing for the next one.
Now the deeper questions begin, and a new artistic journey begins to form. I am excited!
I still hope to start making connections for commission pieces. If there’s something you– reader would like to have for your walls, maybe this is your chance to invest in some art, and talk to me about your visions. I would love to make it happen.
