Every Year, Taylor honors and thanks the Graffiti Church staff, by taking everyone out to eat a nice lunch. He also gives every one some “fun” money, which they can use to do whatever.
The rule of the day is: “no stressful thoughts”. Just enjoy the day and each other, and don’t think about work.
Even though neither Fabio or I are staff any longer, I think Taylor considers us semi-staff. Or as I like to call it, “pseudo-staff”, since we do so many little things at/for the church. So, we were invited.
Unfortunately, the boys and I had to go without Fabio, since he was working. We had a great time anyway. Great lunch, yummy seafood, good company, cool dessert, fun rides, hot day and even a little toe dip in the ocean. It was a long day, in a place that soon won’t be here.
If you haven’t been to Coney Island, go– see what it’s like. I hope to go back to take more pictures…
I even got a chance to ride the Cyclone. I’ll tell you more about that on the next post…
