Its 3:20 am.
I am yet to get a full nights sleep. It doesnt matter if I stay up late or go to sleep early, I always get up in the middle of the night.
Today is no different, but Im more awake than usual.
Anyway, one of the things Im doing to help here, is looking thru 6 dvds worth of pictures, of the aftermath of the tsunami. Mostly taken by volunteer groups that have come throughout the year, to help rebuild, or provide medical care, or build wells, etc. Ive already gone thru 3 of these dvds, and seen literally thousands of pictures of the destruction left behind. Im separating out the best pictures, so that I and other people who come after me, will have a more selective file of pictures to pull from, for various media projects in the future.
I must say that it is extremely depressing to look at these photos. The people were left with nothing.
And then just a few minutes ago I watched a short movie, compiled with several life footage of the actual tsunami event, as people attempted to run, and climb for their lives, in order to literally save themselves from the unbelievable force of the water. All this, as they watched their homes, and all their possessions just being broken in pieces, and washed away. It was insane! The anniversary of the tsunami is coming up, and it was really good for me to be reminded of what happened there.
If you have forgotten, go here.
Next week I am going to get to visit the area where the tsunami hit. Please pray that God would use that time in my life to be inpactful, in whatever way he sees fit.
Also, it will be wonderful to meet up with the team for a few more days.

It’s crazy to be 12 hours ahead of us, isn’t it? So, can you tell us what’s going to happen in the future? I think you’ll start to get used to the time just before you have to return. Then you’ll need another 2 weeks to get back to our world.
Eu timo!
I like the palm trees in the background.
