A weekend to remember for sure.
I can’t even begin to describe, and right now I don’t have time to tell all the stories.
In short, I spent a whole day with indonesian people. It was superb to wander where the people really go.
We went to the central pasar, which is the traditional market, where people buy their veggies and other stuff.
We ate at the food court at the mall, but all the food choices were asian foods.
Then we went up the mountain, to the town of Berastagi. It was real rainy (thus, the wet season) and foggy, so we couldn’t see the volcano mountain, but the trip and the views were spectacular, nonetheless.
Then, at the end of the night, we ate at the night (food in the street) market, just like the locals do.
By the end of the day, I didn’t even feel like I was being starred at.
More stories to come later.
Tonight I spent the better part of the day with some leaders and their family. It was a good, calm day.
Please be praying as tomorrow I head into a different, more strict part of the country. I will get to see first hand what the tsunami did.

Hey Glaucia,
Wow is all I can say. Can’t wait to hear about your adventures in a new part of Indonesia. I thought of you when we sang “The Wonderful Cross” in church today. Miss your guitar rendition!
